Just seven months after he was appointed MD of Nielsen//NetRatings Australia, Allan Dib is leaving due to what the firm describes as 'personal issues'.
While the company is looking for a replacement, Mark Ottaway, Nielsen Online's VP for Regional Services, Asia-Pacific, will act as interim MD, Pacific, based in Sydney.
Dib re-joined the firm last May from GfK Custom where he had worked as VP Brand and Communications Prior to this, he managed the Manhattan office for Ipsos-ASI, and prior to this he worked at the NFO World Group (now TNS) in Sydney. He also previously worked for ACNielsen Custom Research, LookSmart.com, ninemsn.com and John Fairfax Publications; all in Sydney, Australia. Dib holds a Bachelor of Information Management Degree from the University of Melbourne and undertook post graduate studies in Change Management.
Nielsen Online was formed last October when the group firm combined its Nielsen//NetRatings division with BuzzMetrics (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7445.htm ). The group's home page is www.nielsen.com.
