Nielsen Online has promoted Megan Clarken to the position of MD, Pacific to lead the firm's commercial business in Australia and New Zealand.
New Zealand born Clarken joined Nielsen four years ago as VP of Web Analytics, and relocated to New York a year later as VP Web Analytics and Programme Management where she was responsible for the direction of the company's overall product development. Previous roles include senior positions with News Ltd, Akamai, Peakhour and ninemsn.
Clarken's promotion follows the departure of Allan Dib in January (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7826.htm ).
Based in the regional headquarters in Sydney, Australia, Clarken will join the company's Asia-Pacific team. She reports to Jonathan Carson, President International, Nielsen Online, who comments: 'We are delighted to welcome Megan back to Sydney. Her understanding of client needs, her strong leadership skills and familiarity with the Pacific market make her perfectly suited for this role'.
