Technology Research Partnership Formed

March 25 2008

In the UK, B2B marketing and research firm Quadriga Consulting and MR agency Blauw Research have joined forces to offer a global research resource for IT and telecoms assignments.

Based in Northern Ireland, Quadriga specialises in tech-focused qual and quant research in the IT and telecoms sectors, and has particular expertise in international assignments focusing on enterprise software, telecoms products/software, computer hardware and digital content segments.

Its new partner, Blauw Research, has 15 years' experience in the ICT sector and offers European qual research as well as worldwide quant research through online, CATI or mixed mode data collection. The firm operates from offices in London, Rotterdam and Nürnberg.

According to Quadriga MD Jeff Peel the partnership represents a 'major step forward' for ICT clients who need both specialist sector expertise and international data collection resources across multiple markets. 'Many so-called international agencies try to offer turnkey international research capability, but typically that means farming data collection out to local agencies that have no overt sector understanding,' he comments. 'What we offer is end-to-end management of the process, while never losing sight of the business and research objectives.'

Blauw UK MD Jonathan Wheeler says the partnership also offers more responsive project management and a focus on the findings rather than the process.

The alliance, known as QuadrigaBlauw, will operate from Blauw's London office in The Strand. Web sites are at www.quadco.co.uk and www.blauw.co.uk .

Quadriga recently appointed Ruth McNeil as a Non-Executive Director.
