June 11 2008

In the UK, insight consultancy Truth has reported rapid growth since its launch last year - with client billings for 2008 forecast to exceed £3.5m. The firm is also considering opportunities for an overseas presence in Asia and the US.

Andy DexterIn the first six months of 2008, the agency won research and consultancy projects across 17 countries valued at £2.1m. The business has already outgrown its central London offices and plans to move to new office space to accommodate 30 people later this year.

Managing Partner Andy Dexter comments: 'It is still early days but we've been very encouraged by the growth in the business so far. The crucial thing now is to continue to bring in the right talent to the agency to support these accounts.'

Truth senior partners include Ginny Valentine, Neil Coburn, Leanne Tomasevic, and Toby Matthewson, as well as most recently Adam Chmielowski, who joined from Flamingo, and Carolyn Scott, formerly of the Leading Edge agency in Australia.

After making five recent hires, and with a further three in the pipeline, Truth has 20 staff, and is continuing to recruit to support further growth, especially in the brand and strategic consulting arena, and in quant marketing sciences.

Truth opened for business in March 2007 with 'significant backing' from private investment partner, College Group. The company focuses on solving business problems using qual and quant market research, semiotics, and cultural analysis.
