July 14 2008

comScore has named Alexander J. Banks as MD of comScore Latin America, focusing on new business development in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

In his new role, Banks will oversee the expansion of the company's syndicated online audience measurement services, including its flagship comScore Media Metrix and comScore qSearch products. His more than ten years of online information, market research and consulting experience span the Americas - he was until now Director of Business Development, Latin America at The Economist Intelligence Unit/The Economist Group, and previously served as Regional Account Manager, Caribbean and Central America for EMC International, Inc.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
