Senior Synovate Exec Joins MetrixLab

European online research agency MetrixLab has boosted its UK team with the appointment of former Synovate Director Darren Lewis, as Managing Consultant NPD.

Lewis has over 12 years of research experience, beginning with a spell at BMRB International. He has spent the last six years at Synovate, rising to Deputy Sector Head of the UK Consumer Services team in which role he led a team of 15 researchers. His expertise spans many sectors including energy, travel, media, retail, financial, government, public sector, sport and leisure.

MetrixLab UK Commercial Director Roy Patel says the move is 'the first of a number of strategically important new hires for the UK office'. He continues: 'In the last 2 years we have experienced explosive growth in the UK, the largest online research market in Europe. MetrixLab UK will now have significant additional resources in NPD research to build our expertise in online innovation, packaging and product testing.'

MetrixLab has offices in the UK, France, Netherlands, Germany and Spain and runs the 'OpinionBar' consumer panel consisting of 600,000 individuals in all major European markets.
