Research Partnership Hires MD for New US Office

Healthcare and pharma market research agency The Research Partnership has appointed Ajit Baid as Managing Director for its US operations and re-located its offices from New York to Philadelphia.

Baid was previously a Senior Director of Client Services for pharma and biotech research consultancy Genactis, prior to which he served as Senior Consultant Pharmaceuticals with Frost & Sullivan. He has also worked clientside, having spent six years client side in pharma marketing at firms including Ranbaxy Laboratories.

His experience and understanding of therapeutic categories includes cardiovascular, endocrinology and metabolic, central nervous system, oncology, vaccines, respiratory, gastrointestinal, blood products, wound management, and lifestyle products.

Mary Assimakopoulos, one of the Founding Directors of the firm, commented on his appointment: 'Ajit's leadership abilities, strategic business experience and sound research skills will place him well to grow our US office. He has a reputation in the industry for fostering strong long-term relationships with clients and we have no doubt that with his enthusiasm and drive he will inspire both his team and his clients.'

In his new role, Baid will be based at the new offices in Horsham, PA.

The Research Partnership was founded a decade ago to offer both qual and quant pharma and healthcare research. The company recently opened a new regional headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
