New Leader for Ipsos Seattle

In the US, Ipsos has appointed market research veteran Mary Kaye O'Brien as Vice President, to oversee its operations in Seattle.

Mary Kaye O'BrienO'Brien joins with more than 24 years' research experience, covering advertising and branding, product development, customer satisfaction, and strategic planning. Most recently, she was Director of Brand Research at Expedia, where as an internal consultant for consumer research, she monitored ad/brand effectiveness and customer experience.

Her past professional roles have been in a variety of industries including consumer products, television broadcast and production, healthcare, government, telecommunications and e-commerce. These include working as VP, Director of Custom Research at Northwest Research Group, Director of Quality & Customer Service at Emeritus Assisted Living, and Senior Manager, Quality Research at University of Washington Medial Center. She holds a BSc from the University of Iowa and an MA in Psychology from Drake University.

In her new role, she will also contribute to the capabilities and offerings of Ipsos' travel/tourism practice, currently headed by Jim Quilty, VP in NY, and Dave Pierzchala, VP in Vancouver.
