CSD Packages Healthcare Data and Analysis

In France, healthcare researcher Cegedim Strategic Data (CSD) has launched a new service which promises to integrate its various data sources and deliver comprehensive analysis.

Its new 'Global Strategic Data Integration and Reporting Service' brings together the firm's Promotion, Longitudinal Patient Data, Patient Diary Study and ZOOM, to allow the creation of custom reports through its Reportive business intelligence tool.

The service will be managed by Hien Tran who has ten years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His most recent position was Project Manager with Reportive.

According to Bruno Sarfati, CSD President: 'This new service will reinforce our global offer and provide clients with custom reports for their marketing and strategic decision making.'

Founded in 1969, CSD integrates primary and secondary analyses with its medical expertise. Parent firm Cegedim, which supplies healthcare industry data, operates in more than 80 countries and employs more than 8,400 people.

Last November, Cegedim announced a 16% increase in consolidated revenues to Euros 607m for the first nine months of 2008.
