Ipsos Strengthens Board of Directors

Pierre Le Manh Ipsos' shareholders have approved the appointment of five new Board Directors, including Pierre Le Manh who is Global CEO of Ipsos Marketing and Chairman of the CEEA and MENA regions.

(CEEA is Central & Eastern Europe / Africa and MENA Middle East / North Africa).

Before joining Ipsos in 2004, Le Manh was a Consultant at Accenture, Finance Director of Adami and Chairman and CEO of Encyclopaedia Universalis. He then went on to occupy various management roles with Consodata before being appointed its CEO in 2002.

The other new Board Directors are:

  • Patrick Artus, Chief Economist at investment house Natixis, a Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique and an Associate Professor at the University of Paris l-Sorbonne. He was elected Economist of the Year in 1996 by the Nouvel Economiste.
  • Marina Eloy-Jacquillat, who is a 20 year veteran of JP Morgan and now works as Group HR Director at financial services group ING.
  • Gilbert Saad, former Crédit Agricole executive, who is currently a member of the Executive Board of investment firm Eurazeo; a company he joined in 1999 as Director of Development and Investment.
  • Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Hubert Védrine, who is now Head of Védrine Conseil and Chairman of the Institut François Mitterrand.
Ipsos' shareholders also approved the renewal of the terms of office of existing independent Directors Yves-Claude Abescat and Yann Duchesne, as well as of Ipsos Financial Officer Laurence Stoclet, and Ipsos Deputy CEO Henri Wallard.

The Ipsos Board comprises both Ipsos professionals and independent Directors, and these nominations bring the number of members to 16.
