Jim EschrichUS-based research and consulting firm The Pert Group has appointed Patricia Bien as Senior Account Director in its Farmington office, and Jim Eschrich as Qualitative Research Director based in Kansas.

Established in 1978, the group is headquartered in Bloomfield, CT, with offices in Kansas City, and Pittsburgh, PA, as well as in London.

Bien joins with nearly fifteen years’ experience. Most recently, she was Director of Market Research & Strategic Planning at credit and identity protection service FYI Direct, prior to which served as Consumer Insights Manager at Heineken USA and Research Manager at TNS North America. She began her career at Millward Brown.

Eschrich (pictured) most recently worked for employee-owned marcoms agency Barkley as Director of Research, before which he was Research Program Manager for merchandising at Hallmark’s worldwide headquarters in Kansas City. In his nine years with the company, he guided consumer research in everyday cards, new product and discovery and mass channel. Prior to this, Eschrich served as Research Analyst at Havas-owned ad agency, Arnold Worldwide.
