In the US, Valient Market Research has hired Emily Eberhardt in the newly created role of VP Business Development. Based in the firm’s Buffalo-Niagara Regional Office in Williamsville, New York, she will co-ordinate the company’s regional sales, marketing and business development efforts.

Eberhardt brings more than twenty-two years of MR and business development experience, most recently with full service qual and quant medical researcher Segmedica as Director, Client Services and in a number of other roles. Previous companies include Supplemental Healthcare, Physicians Imaging Centers, Ticketmaster, Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo-area radio stations WYRK and WKSE. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Buffalo’s Canisuis College.

President and CEO Scott D. Upham says the opening of the new office in May and the appointment of Eberhardt represent ‘aggressive expansion’ of the firm’s customer service, project team and business development efforts in the region.
