In the UK, healthcare specialist Adept Field Solutions has appointed Heliana Bedoya as Project Director while also promoting Jason Seymour from his previous role as Senior Project Manager to a Project Director position.

Kingston upon Thames-based Adept was launched in 2010 by former Synovate Healthcare Directors Peter Boyle and Sarah Flinn. Their firm offers both qual and quant healthcare and pharmaceutical data collection globally, across a broad spectrum of therapy areas.

Bedoya, who specialises in healthcare research, joins with 10 years’ experience across both online and qual methodologies. Most recently, she held project management roles in London at Ugam Solutions and Fieldwork International, prior to which, she worked at OgilvyOne in Columbia. In her new role, Bedoya will be responsible for expanding Adept’s services across South America.

Boyle comments: ‘Our business continues to grow rapidly particularly across the emerging markets. Heliana’s expertise of the South American healthcare markets is second to none, and we are very excited at the prospect of expanding on our existing services across this region.’

Seymour joined the company in 2011 with nearly ten years’ healthcare fieldwork experience, having previously served as Senior Project Manager at Synovate Healthcare and worked at GfK/NOP. Flinn says the promotion is in recognition of Seymour’s ‘outstanding contribution’ to the business last year.
