US-based consumer insights group Pure Moxie has appointed Wendy Taylor-Tanielian to lead its Client Services division.
Pure Moxie, which recently changed its name from tbgWorldwide, has a team of researchers, anthropologists, data analysts, documentary filmmakers, ethnographers, trend-spotters, and programmers who work from the firm’s headquarters in Napa, as well as its offices in Paris and London.
The company recently
acquired what it describes as a ‘significant stake’ in technology firm aSi Media, with the aim of enhancing its own digital insight services.
Taylor-Tanielian (pictured) joins as Senior Vice President and Director of Client Services, with more than 20 years’ experience as a writer and communications strategist. After spending almost a decade in politics as a press secretary and speechwriter, she joined Sanders\Wingo Advertising as an Account Director where she worked on brand development programs for a number of blue chip clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Pure Moxie co-founder Paris Buchanan said: ‘When we looked at expanding our client service team, we weren’t interested in the typical project management that marks on calendars and crunches numbers. We want our clients working with strategists in their own right, who constantly assess a brand’s positioning. Wendy’s strategic background in advertising, PR and media lined up perfectly.’
