Amy VranicarIn the US, research, media planning, and ad consultancy SJ Insights has appointed Amy Vranicar as Senior Planning and Research Supervisor.

Kansas City-based SJ Insights, which was launched last year by US ad agency veteran Sheree Johnson, provides market intelligence and analysis, proprietary market research services, media planning and buying services, as well as marketing and advertising related consulting.

Vranicar (pictured) joins with more than 25 years’ experience during which time, she has established and led several media research and online media planning groups. Most recently, she served as Media Supervisor at ad agency Barkley, where she worked for nearly eight years, prior to which, she held the same title at marcoms specialist Nicholson Kovac for nine years.

Johnson comments: ‘Amy is a pro at media research and finding nuggets of information that can lead to a great idea, or a new way to reach the target audience. Media planning, market intelligence, competitive reviews and target audience analyses are crucial parts of her arsenal.’
