In the UK, pharma sector forecasting and insights specialist J+D has appointed David Baker as a Business Consultant.

J+D, which has offices in the UK and Italy, as well as a partnership in Japan, offers new product planning, strategic and operational forecasting, brand planning and implementation. Its team uses advanced analytics to audit existing data sources, identify information gaps, develop appropriate market research solutions, and create customised interactive insight and delivery platforms.

Baker (pictured) joins from pharma manufacturer Fresenius Kabi, where as Project Manager he was involved in projects relating to process automation, and data analysis utilising VBA. He is a fully trained pharmacist with academic, hospital and community experience. In his new role, Baker will support clients with bespoke model development, and development of the firm's FC+ suite of forecasting solutions, as well as FC365, Sharepoint and PowerBI technologies.
