Dave SimonIn the US, location intelligence and consumer insights specialist Cuebiq has appointed Dave Simon as Vice President, Programmatic Data Sales.

Cuebiq provides 'geo-behavioral audiences' for cross-platform ad targeting, real-time campaign optimization and footfall attribution tools, as well as off-line location analytics. Last year, the firm received an unspecified amount of new funding, and opened an office in San Francisco's SoMa district.

Simon (pictured) joins with almost twenty years' experience in advertising. Most recently, he worked at Oath (now Verizon Media) where he was Head of US Agency Platform Sales. Before this, he led North American Platform Sales for Yahoo! (later acquired by Verizon), where he supported the launch of Yahoo! DSP in the US and Canada. Prior to this he was RVP of Central region at video ad firm BrightRoll (later <20012 by Yahoo!).

In his new role, Simon is tasked with establishing and fostering relationships with teams looking to capture location-based attribution and analytics in one offering.
