Eileen DoigIn the US, consumer understanding specialist Curion has appointed Eileen Doig as Global Account Director in its Research and Sensory Testing team.

Formed by the merger of Q Research Solutions and Tragon Corp, the company works for brands in the food and beverage, personal care, fragrance and home care categories, and in 2018 tested 97,000 consumers for 25 brands. Last month, the firm launched eFive, a sensory and product insights platform for emerging brands, with testing facilities in Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas and New York City.

Doig (pictured) joins after six years at consumer intelligence provider Mintel, where she latterly worked as Senior Account Manager, managing a key strategic account portfolio. Her experience includes work for corporations in retail and consumer packaged goods, and she began her career as Digital Account Executive at Dex One, where she was responsible for selling targeted digital marketing solutions.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Sean Bisceglia said: 'Our clients include legacy and emerging brands, all seeking to launch innovative products and find loyal consumers. Eileen has very credible experience in both digital marketing and consumer insights. She has worked with global brands, and she will be a great asset as we grow our current client base.'
