US-based youth and family researcher Smarty Pants has appointed Paul 'Skip' Wong as Research Manager, based in Los Angeles.
Wong (pictured) previously served as Strategy Manager at consumer insights and strategy consultancy
Bastian db5, where he led quarterly trackers and ad hoc marketing strategy initiatives. Before this, he was Senior Analyst of Gaming and Digital Media at Interpret; and Research Management Consultant at Kantar.
In his new role, Wong will manage custom quantitative research initiatives - including audience segmentations, positioning tests, and concept evaluations - for clients. Company Director
Josie Johnson comments: 'Skip is the rare combination of data nerd and social butterfly. He can moderate a digital interview as easily as he runs a conjoint analysis. He uniquely links consumer sentiments with hard data that clients can use to build brands, products and services. And he brings valuable cross-cultural insights and international research experience to the Smarty Pants team.'
