Yoder to Lead Newly Funded B2B Data Platform Leadspace

US and Israel-based B2B customer data platform (CDP) Leadspace has raised $46m in a growth funding round, which it will use to expand its team in both countries. The firm has also appointed former Webtrends CEO Alex Yoder as Chief Executive Officer, replacing Doug Bewsher.

Alex YoderThe Leadspace platform combines with third party data sources and uses AI to help clients find and target profiles similar to their best existing customers, while recommending how to best engage them. Two years ago, the company partnered with enterprise data and analytics provider LiveRamp to launch a persona level ad targeting service.

Yoder (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience as a leader in technology, B2B and SaaS, leading companies like Webtrends, Ebiquity, Trueffect, and Merkle. He replaces Bewsher, who left last month after nearly seven years with the company, and now serves as an executive at Arrowroot Capital Management.

New funding has been led by JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners), whose Executive Chairman Erel Margalit will now serve as Chairman of the Leadspace Board. Commenting on the news, Leadspace founder and CTO Amnon Mishor said: 'We're excited to welcome Alex, who brings great experience helping customers use data and analytics to solve complex problems. And we're excited to continue working with JVP to help take the platform to the next level and bring it to a wider set of B2B companies'.
