Yoder Joins Ebiquity as Americas CEO

Alex Yoder, former CEO of online analytics pioneer Webtrends, has joined UK-based media and marketing insights specialist Ebiquity as Chief Executive Officer, Americas.

Alex YoderFounded in 1997 as Thomson Intermedia, North Tyneside-based Ebiquity comprises an Analytics division, offering media buying measurement and benchmarking, and performance measurement; and a 'Platform' division which provides media monitoring products.

Yoder (pictured) left Webtrends in September after five years as its CEO - a role others have found hard to stick around in before and since. He had returned to the firm from an 18-month stint as VP of Sales at behavioural targeting software firm Touch Clarity, having previously spent three years at Webtrends in senior positions. He began his career at systems and security management software company NetIQ.

In his new role, Yoder is tasked with rolling out Ebiquity's global capabilities across the Americas. He replaces PJ Leary, who becomes Chairman of Ebiquity Americas, with responsibility for the company's media measurement services which he has built up during the past eleven years.
