Nielsen Appoints New MD in Malaysia

In Malaysia, Nielsen has promoted Kow Kuan Hua to the position of Managing Director of its Consumer Group, after 13 years with the firm.

Hua joined Nielsen Malaysia in 1997 as a Research Executive, and after progressing through the business, he transferred to China for a four-year placement in Shanghai as VP of Consumer Research and FMCG, as well as of its forecasting division BASES.

In his new role, Hua will oversee The company's Consumer Group operation in Malaysia, in close collaboration with the local management team.

He will report to Christophe Cambournac, President, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa, who is based in Singapore.

Last week, Nielsen announced that Joan Koh has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Nielsen in Singapore.
