MetrixLab Expands in US

Netherlands-based online market research agency MetrixLab has strengthened its International Media and Advertising business unit by expanding into the US market.

JR BultMetrixLab already has operations in the Netherlands, UK, Germany, France and Spain, from which it provides online research services to companies in the consumer goods, financial services, auto, telecoms, retail, utilities and new media sectors.

The firm also operates its own 'OpinionBar' consumer panel, consisting of 800,000 individuals across all major European markets.

'Based upon our experience with some leading clients in the US, this is a good moment to open the US office,' explained MetrixLab Global Director for Media and Advertising, Lucas Hulsebos. 'The shared international knowledge of brands and communication, together with the local knowledge of the media landscape, will help us serve our US based clients even better.'

The new US office will be led by Jan Roelf (JR) Bult as Executive Vice President of Media & Advertising. He joins with more than 17 years' experience in marketing strategy, advanced analytics and econometrics.

Most recently, Bult worked at AbsolutData Research and Analytics as Senior VP Analytics. Prior to this, he was VP - Director Marketing and Analytics at Digitas, President at Orange Consulting, VP Strategic Planning at Wunderman, and a Management Consultant at Monitor.
