US-based media measurement firm TRA has been granted a US patent for its Media TRAnalytics platform, which helps TV networks, agencies and advertisers match the ads households receive with the products they buy.
<! pod><! pod>Launched two years ago, TRA's solution currently matches 1.5 million households' TV data with 54 million households' purchase data to create a single source database of around 370,000 households.
The newly awarded patent also covers TRA's solutions for integrating other types of media and purchase data, as well as its report metrics, application programming interfaces (APIs), multivariate analytics, algorithms and privacy solution.
'Securing the patent demonstrates our commitment to the importance of intellectual property and helping our clients improve their business results through technological innovation,' states Chairman and CEO, Mark Lieberman.
Last week, TRA received a $10m series-C round of investment funding, which it plans to use to spur growth.
