Cambiar Taps Wood for Impact

In the US, Cambiar, the management consulting company dedicated to the market research industry, has added Monica Wood as a Partner. She will join the firm's Research Impact Consulting practice, headed by Ian Lewis.

Monica WoodWood was most recently Vice President Marketing Services for Novartis Consumer Health, a role including digital marketing and marketing spend optimisation as well as competitive intelligence and market research. Previous jobs involved leading change in consumer research and insights for companies including Novartis, Wyeth, Toys 'R Us, Edelman Public Relations and Campbell Soup. She is currently an active member of the ARF's Research Transformation Super Council.

Founded in 2004 by leading US researchers Simon Chadwick and Jay Wilson, Cambiar specializes in helping market research companies manage change and build long-term value, and has launched practices covering HR, Sales Performance, 'Research Transformation' - which helps client side research departments to achieve relevance and impact; and Marketing.

Lewis says he has known Wood for many years, and comments: 'Monica's expertise in leading change at major global companies across different industries considerably strengthens our Research Impact practice.'
