Oracle Added Value Hires Bale as China Chairman

WPP-owned brand specialist Added Value has named Steve Bale as non-Executive Chairman for the Greater China region, with a focus on building consultative relationships and strengthening the 'Oracle Added Value' brand.

Oracle Added Value has offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong and offers brand development and marketing insight services to blue-chip companies across China.

Bale, who has lived and worked in China since 1997, joins from Bates 141 where he served as a Brand Consultant. During his career, he has held several leadership positions including China CEO of Enfatico; Communications Director of Saatchi & Saatchi in Shanghai; and Managing Partner of Ammirati Puris Lintas in London. Earlier, he was the Head of Strategic Planning and MD of Bates China.

In his new role, he reports to Janine Hawkins, Global CEO of Added Value, who comments: 'Steve comes highly recommended, and in recruiting him we have been struck by his passion for brands, his energy and enthusiasm, his strategic thinking and his love of Greater China.'
