Truth Sees Annual Revenues Climb 25% to £9m

March 26 2012

London-based insight consultancy Truth has celebrated its fifth birthday with annual revenues of £9m, up 25% from the previous year.

Andy DexterSince its launch in 2007, Truth has opened additional offices in New York and Singapore. Last October, the firm received new investment - thought to have been around £20m to £25m - from venture capital fund Vitruvian Partners. Truth founder Andy Dexter (pictured) says that the company is now using some of this funding to finance several senior hires, while it is also in early stage discussions with a number of 'complementary potential acquisitions'.

Dexter confirms that the company's other major focus for 2012 will be 'significant investment' in accelerating Truth's international presence, both in current markets and new territories.

'The last six months have been particularly strong, with new project commissions of over £6m in the run up to our year end - half of which has come from completely new clients,' Dexter states. 'There has also been a particularly strong showing in international business, and in multi-method strategic projects such as market segmentation, innovation, brand strategy, and cultural insight.'
