GfK's Jim Timony Joins Phoenix Marketing

GfK veteran Jim Timony has joined US research agency Phoenix Marketing International (PMI) as Vice President, working in the Converged Technology and Media sector from the firm's Horsham, PA and New York City offices.

Jim TimonyFounded in 1999, PMI offers a range of consulting services such as syndicated research, database analytics and modelling proficiency for clients in the financial, CPG, auto, travel and leisure, and healthcare sectors.

Yesterday, the firm announced the launch of its AdPi (Advertising Performance Indicator) Express scorecard; a tool to enable insurance companies to measure the effectiveness of their print and TV ads.

Timony joins after a twenty-year career with GfK Custom Research North America, where he was responsible for the supervision and management of many projects within the Media Content Provider and Entertainment sector. His specialisms include helping media properties better understand how to tap into relationships with audiences and advertisers, brand positioning, and targeting audience growth paths.
