Research Now Adds Geo-Location to Mobile Platform

October 16 2013

Research Now has released a new version of its Mobile platform, featuring its newly developed 'Relevant Movement' geo-location technology and integration of its Mobile Access Panel.

Pala KuppusamyFormed last year following the acquisition of mobile research specialist iPinion, Research Now Mobile offers clients full survey functionality for custom qual and quant surveys.

The latest release allows researchers to tap into Research Now's mobile panel, using either mobile-only or a mix of mobile and online sample, choosing the proportion of each. Qualified panellists complete each survey through an integrated, in-app window linked to the client's questionnaire, which the firm says enables researchers to gather data from a global network in real-time. In addition, Relevant Movement's geo-fencing technology and 'in-the-moment' survey capabilities add location-based research to the package.

Pala Kuppusamy (pictured), CEO of Research Now Mobile, comments: 'The role that a respondent's location and movement plays in modern research is growing, so we've further enhanced our geo-fencing technology to give researchers the ability to understand the locational attitudes and behaviors of individuals.'
