Netherlands Buy for WPP's GreyPossible

November 29 2013

WPP firm GreyPossible has acquired the business and assets of Amsterdam-based digital marketing firm Media Republic, whose services include social media analysis and management via its Social365 unit.

GreyPOSSIBLE is a strategic partnership between two WPP companies, ad and marketing network Grey EMEA and interactive marketing agency POSSIBLE Worldwide. Media Republic, which was established in 2002 and had calendar year 2012 revenue of $1.7m, will become part of newly formed GreyPOSSIBLE Benelux.

WPP says the move continues its strategy of investing in important markets and sectors and its commitment to expanding its capabilities in online, social and mobile communications.

SOCIAL365 develops, executes and manages engagement strategies for brands on social media, 'generating and offering actionable insights by interpreting data and making it actionable on a daily basis'.
