Leger Metrics Launches Text Analytics Tool

Canadian firm Leger Metrics has launched a solution to automatically analyze text responses from open-ended survey questions, social media, and anywhere else customers leave comments about their brand experiences.

Richard PridhamLeger Metrics was known as Agility Metrics, prior to its acquisition by market research firm Leger in 2012. The division specializes in voice-of-the-customer (VoC) and customer experience management (CEM) solutions, and offers continuous customer feedback and real-time insights.

Using natural language processing (NLP), the new 'Leger Metrics Text Analytics' tool categorizes and analyzes large volumes of unstructured data, in order to identify keyword trends and measure sentiment. Results are then combined with the quantitative data collected from customer survey questionnaires.
