Mintel Hires US Consumer Research Head

In Chicago, Marla Commons has returned to consumer product and media intelligence provider Mintel as Vice President of Research, in charge of the US Consumer Research and Insight teams.

Marla CommonsCommons (pictured) joins from Frank N. Magid Associates, where she served as Managing Director, prior to which she was VP, Qualitative at MarketVision Research and spent five years at Research International as SVP, Qualitative. Earlier, she served as Senior Editor at Mintel, specializing in social and consumer trends. She began her career at ShopTalk, where she was latterly Consumer Insights Manager.
