uSamp Plans Move to Fully Open API

March 12 2014

Online sampling and technology company uSamp is to move to a fully open application programming interface (API) platform called SampleCORE, allowing clients to gather richer insights from sample - including traditional profile, social, behavioral and geo-location information.

Carl TrudelSampleCORE will build on the firm's existing self-service panel access platform SampleMarket, which integrates with users' own products and technologies to allow panel access within their own web site, applications and administrative tools. uSamp says the evolution of its API will 'provide a high degree of flexibility and control' to application developers, while offering a real-time, on-demand, open sampling platform for clients.

CTO Carl Trudel (pictured) comments: 'The fundamental problem with the sample industry today is that 95% of audience is acquired in a back and forth, manual process which leads to errors and more costly sample. By developing SampleCORE to be agile and adaptable, we are able to harness the right audiences precisely at the moment our clients need them.'
