Royal Mail Names Head of Insight and Data Leader

In the UK, Royal Mail has appointed former Aegis Media exec Antony Jones as Head of Insight for its MarketReach business, while Diana Rhodes joins the division as Mail Strategy and Planning Director, to lead the planning and data teams.

Diana RhodesMarketReach provides a range of in-house and external expertise, from planning to creative and design solutions through to print, delivery and response evaluation.

Jones was most recently a freelance consultant, prior to which he worked for OnDevice Research and Toluna, and was Global Head of Research at Aegis Media/Carat/Carat International, Worldwide Research Director at ZenithOptimedia Worldwide, and European Research Director at Optimedia International.

Rhodes (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' experience. Since 2009, she has worked as a freelance consultant, prior to which she was Joint Head of Planning at DMS, and Head of Channel Strategy and Media at Proximity London. Earlier in her career, she founded Starcom Direct, and was MD at MediaCom and Media Director at RAPP UK.

In addition, Kathryn McNamara has joined the division as Head of Communications and Channels, having previously served as Royal Mail's Head of Brand and Customer Communications.
