Outsourcing Firm Plans to Hire 1,000

June 6 2014

In India, BPO and KPO firm Navigant Technologies says it will more than double its headcount in the current financial year, adding 1,000 staff; and will add a third call centre, in Delhi or Gurgaon.

Navigant, which currently has around 800 employees, serves clients in North America, The UK, Australia and Singapore, about half of them in the utilities sector. The company's KPO services (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) include online panel recruitment, CATI data collection, questionnaire design and survey hosting; and it offers a range of other services such as digital marketing, multi-lingual support, database cleaning and validation.

According to www.bgr.in , founder and CEO Ankur Bhatia told news agency PTI that half the new staff or just over would be 'freshers' and the rest more experienced professionals. The new centre will cost around $2m and will begin with around 500 seats, expanding to 1,000 later.
