Morocco's joint industry committee CIAUMED has awarded GfK a contract to deliver an electronic TV audience measurement (TAM) service. The agency has also won an extension of its radio audience contract in Switzerland.CIAUMED represents TV stations, agencies and advertisers in Morocco. GfK will deliver the contract using its universal metering system, TV Logger, which was rolled out in the Lebanon last year.

This will deliver significant benefits for our media industry in terms of fast, accurate and highly reliable data and market insights.'
Separately, in Switzerland, Mediapulse AG has extended GfK's radio audience measurement contract for a further three years. GfK has been providing these services in Switzerland since 2001, and the new contract requires the agency to monitor 1,012 people each day, via its Mediawatch service, based on a panel of 26,312 individuals.
