New Leader for Ipsos MediaCT in India

Ipsos has appointed former Nielsen exec Aldrin Stephen Luiz as Executive Director and Head of its MediaCT business in India, based in the Mumbai office and reporting to MD Amit Adarkar.

Luiz has more than 15 years of experience in leading teams, client service and business development, and this is his second spell at Ipsos, having spent time as Country Head of Ipsos Bahrain and Qatar between 2007 and 2011. Since that time, he has headed up Nielsen India's Telecom Practice, and then worked as an independent consultant. Earlier in his career he worked for Incite Research Bahrain and Land Rover Bahrain. A Chartered Engineer (Electronics), he has recently completed the executive programme in advanced business analytics from IIM, Bangalore.

Adarkar welcomes Luiz's 'extensive experience in media and technology research', adding: 'I am sure he will grow the business manifold.'
