Optimity Expands to Europe with Matrix Knowledge Buy

US management consulting firm Optimity Advisors has expanded to Europe by acquiring London-based advisory and data management specialist Matrix Knowledge.

Now known as OptimityMatrix, the firm offers economic research, advice and data management services to public and private sector clients across Europe, and its team includes economists, researchers, data management specialists and software developers. The company is also the co-founder and joint owner of US higher education financial performance specialist College Measures LLC.

Optimity Advisors CEO Rick McNabb (pictured) says the deal provides a 'great opportunity' to add capabilities and a presence in Europe. Jacque Mallender, the founder of Matrix Knowledge, adds: 'We recognized that to unlock the growth potential we aspired to, we needed a specialist in our space with size and scale for support. Optimity Advisors reflect the inherent value of our business and together we will be stronger.'
