Mopinion Debuts Cart Abandonment Insights Tool

Netherlands-based customer feedback specialist Mopinion has launched a new product called 'Conversion Insights' (CI), to alert online retailers when customers abandon the purchase process, and provide insights as to why.

You abandoned me...Headquartered in Rotterdam, with an additional office in London, Mopinion offers a software platform to collect and analyse feedback from customers and staff at all the different touch points within an organisation.

According to research conducted last year by the Baymard Institute, 67% of visitors to online stores leave at the purchasing stage without buying the intended product or service. Mopinion's new CI tool has been designed to address this issue by collecting feedback before, during and after the online purchase process; analysing the resulting real-time data; and providing a complete workflow to help managers and customer teams tackle issues and monitor if these efforts lead to improvements.

Describing the reasons behind the launch, Mopinion founder Udesh Jadnanansing comments: 'It's a proven concept that if you ask the right questions at the right time you can find out exactly what the situation is and rectify it. CI gives you timely detailed insight into this customer behaviour and helps to formulate a resolution to save the customer relationship for the future.'
