New York-based advertising intelligence specialist Integral Ad Science has appointed former Google exec Dave Marquard as Director of Product Management, Publisher Products.Formerly known as AdSafe Media, the company evaluates web sites, giving them a TRAQ Score (True Advertising Quality), and its services include real-time, impression-level fraud detection and prevention solutions. In February, the firm acquired London-based mobile ad data company Simplytics, having raised $30m in investment funds the previous month.
Marquard (pictured) joins from Google, where as Partner Technology Manager, Mobile Ads, he worked on mobile ad publisher platforms. Prior to this he worked for IBM, initially in charge of the Product Marketing team, and latterly as Worldwide BPM Sales Leader. During his career, Marquard has also held senior product management roles at Lombardi Software.
In his new position, he is tasked with uniting the buyers and sellers of media with one singular system of measurement, across private and public marketplaces. CEO Scott Knoll comments: 'Dave's experience is perfect to direct our advancements in this space. As we continue to fill out his team with engineers, client services managers, and account executives, we are confident that we will be disruptive in the market.'
