Cint Gears Up for Growth with New CEO

Research technology and panel exchange operator Cint has appointed Morten Strand as its new CEO, replacing Bo Mattsson who it says will 'remain on the board and continue to be a strong influence in the company'. The company plans 'rapid growth' in 2015, led by US expansion.

New Cint CEO Morten StrandThe company boasts a global reach of more than 10 million people in 57 countries, recruited through 500 different panel owners and accessible via its OpinionHUB platform. Offices are in major cities across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.

Strand, who will be based at the company Stockholm headquarters, was previously COO at SaaS company Visma Software, and brings a strong understanding of business process optimisation, as well as 'vast experience in the development of market leadership and a passion for innovation and partnering'

Mattsson says the ten-year-old company is 'in the strongest position it has ever been in', with great employees and investors and a knack for staying ahead of the game in data collection. He adds: 'we've made some great partnerships with major industry players such as GfK and Survey Monkey'. This angle is picked up by Strand who comments: 'Collaboration will be the key to industry growth and development and it is my aim to make Cint the preferred partner for all players in the market research industry.'

Cint Chairman Sam van der Feltz says of the new arrival: 'his track record is proven but more importantly, his passion and drive for everything Cint stands for is what I believe will enable him to really propel the business forward.'
