AMS Promotes Two for Litigation Support Practice

Waltham, MA-based MR consultancy Applied Marketing Science (AMS) has promoted Brian Sowers to Principal and Jason Och to Associate Principal of its Litigation Support practice.

Brian Sowers and Jason OchSowers will lead the practice, which supports attorneys on matters of consumer behavior and marketing. He joined AMS in 2011, having previously held senior roles at Forbes Consulting Group, Lockheed Martin, MCI Worldcom and Marketing Anaysts Inc. Since joining AMS, Sowers has helped provide MR for cases including trademark infringement, class action matters, false and deceptive advertising, antitrust issues and patent damages. He has also assisted attorneys to assess the benefits of collecting MR data, critique opposing expert reports, and prepare experts for deposition and trial questioning.

Och joined the firm in 2010, and most recently designed and oversaw survey research to support litigation cases, while working closely with academic experts, attorneys and other stakeholders to manage quant and qual research initiatives. He was previously a Senior Project Director at Opinion Research Corporation, and Director of Client Projects at online concept testing specialist Resonance Insights.
