Millward Brown Appoints Chief HR Officer

WPP-owned brand and media specialist Millward Brown has appointed Karen Rivoire as Chief Human Resources Officer, to lead the firm's strategy for attracting, retaining, and developing 'top talent'.

Rivoire (pictured) joins from seafood product provider MW Brands, where she served as Group HR Director overseeing employee communications and corporate social responsibility programs for the firm's 5,500 employees. Prior to this, she spent twelve years in senior HR leadership roles at Unilever in both France and the UK, and she was a Brand Manager at Carrefour and Sony in Paris.

Rivoire replaces Susan Steele, who left the firm last summer after four years in the role.

In her new role as a member of the Global Board, Rivoire will be based in the company's London office and report to CEO Travyn Rhall, who comments: 'Karen's unique combination of HR, communications and brand experience, and her success in designing and activating fully aligned talent strategies, make her the perfect person for this role. I am delighted to welcome her and strengthen our leadership team with such an experienced executive.'
