Metrix Consulting Opens Office in Melbourne

Australian business intelligence specialist Metrix Consulting has expanded to the East Coast, with the opening of an office in Melbourne. The office will be led by former GfK exec Asher Hunter, supported by Laura Millington.

The Perth-based company extracts insights from marketing and business information such as customer research, CRM data, transactional data, web stats and social media. Founder and MD Marquis Pohla says of the expansion: 'I'm excited about establishing a presence on the East Coast to service our national clients, and bring a new approach to those we haven't worked with.'

Hunter (pictured) joins after six years at GfK, most recently as AD, in charge of a team of consultants based in Melbourne, and before this worked as VP, Consulting, based in New York. Earlier, he was an Account Executive at Synovate, and an RE at Millward Brown. In his new role, Hunter will be supported by Millington, who joins with more than ten years' experience gained at Raspberry Innovation Research + Strategy, GfK, Sweeney Research, Synovate and Colmar Brunton.
