comScore Hires for Ad Effectiveness Roles in UK and US

Digital measurement specialist comScore has hired David Shiffman as Senior Vice President of Marketing Solutions in the US, while Duncan Trigg takes up the position of Vice President of Advertising Effectiveness in London.

David Shiffman and Duncan TriggShiffman joins in New York from MediaVest, where he was most recently EVP and Director of Research. In total, he spent more than fifteen years at MediaVest in the US and Starcom MediaVest Group in Canada, driving the agency's research vision, leading product research and developing new research techniques.

At comScore, Shiffman will have a particular focus on advertising effectiveness, and delivering customized measurement and optimization solutions. Manish Bhatia, comScore EVP and Chief Revenue Officer, comments: 'For over a decade, David has been a well-respected senior member of the advertising community in New York City. His expertise in understanding consumer behavior, and knowledge of the application of cross-media market and ad effectiveness measurement will be invaluable to both comScore and our clients.'

Trigg joins in London with more than fifteen years' experience working in ad tech and media sales organisations. Most recently, he served as CEO of content verification firm Project Sunblock, prior to which he founded consultancy Triggpoint Media, served as MD of entertainment shopping site Biddi.com, and co-founded online media consultancy Unanimis (later sold to Telecom France). Earlier, he served as Head of Sponsorship and Promotions at online content service Excite, and he founded a chain of Internet cafes in Europe.

In his new role, Trigg is responsible for thought leadership and education around comScore's advertising effectiveness solutions across all markets outside the US. CMO Mark Donovan comments: 'Duncan brings a wealth of market knowledge and demonstrated leadership to our global team.
