Communispace Names NYC Leader

Online community specialist Communispace has appointed Jonathan Stinnett, former Research & Insights Director at banking group Citi, as Vice President and Managing Director of its New York City office.

Owned by Omnicom and based in Boston, Massachusetts, Communispace offers services ranging from private online communities to storytelling capabilities, immersion events and innovation projects. The firm has additional offices in Atlanta, Chicago, New York and San Francisco, and international offices in London, Amsterdam, Cape Town, Mexico City, Paris, São Paulo, Shanghai and Sydney.

Stinnett (pictured) joins from global bank Citi, where his achievements included creation of the Retail Research & Insights team, the development of a suite of customer research and marketplace intelligence services, and the launches of a mystery shopping program, social media monitoring services, and an online insights community. Earlier, he held senior roles at ad agencies TBWA Chiat Day, Gotham, and Euro RSCG.
