Vision One Research Hires Victoria Wood

In the UK, full service agency Vision One Research has appointed former Optimsa exec Victoria Wood as Director in charge of its Qualitative Insights team.

Victoria WoodWith offices in London, Liverpool, Derby and Willenhall, Vision One Research was founded in 1999 by Tony Lewis and Jas Gidda. In 2007, the firm set up its own specialist fieldwork services, offering face-to-face and telephone research. The company also owns consumer specialist Heawood Research.

Wood (pictured) most recently worked as an independent consultant, having previously served as Qualitative Research Director at Optimisa. Prior to this she ran her own agency, Lala & Wood, for more than fifteen years, having begun her career in account planning roles at Ted Bates Communications, BSB Dorland and KHBB.

In her new role, Wood will lead the company's qualitative, advertising and retail services offerings, and will also spearhead development of its ad research solution AdProbe.

Commenting on the appointment, Lewis said: 'We are delighted to appoint Victoria Wood to further strengthen our already strong and talented exec team, and believe this appointment will further bolster our retail, advertising, packaging and other specialist research offerings for both ourselves and our clients.'
