Cisco Joins Investors in Ad Targeting Firm Innovid

Targeted video ad specialist Innovid has raised $10m in funding, in a round led by Cisco Investments, and says it will be used to enhance its product offering for brands and media agencies, and to continue growing its interactive and personalized video services.

More funds for ad technology firm InnovidAll the firm's original investors, including Genesis Partners, Sequoia Capital, and T-Venture, were also participants in the round. Innovid has now raised a total of $37.6m.

Innovid offers an end-to-end video ad platform allowing clients to create, deliver and measure video campaigns across many media types. At the recent CES 2015 show, Innovid and Cisco teamed up to demonstrate a platform which manages video for advertisers across multiple screens, and gives viewers more ways to interact with brands, explore products and request information.
