Nielsen Promotes Johnson for AsiaPac Reach Role

Nielsen has appointed Craig Johnson to head up its Reach portfolio in Southeast Asia, North Asia and the Pacific, including television and radio audience measurement, and Consumer & Media View and advertising measurement.

Craig JohnsonJohnson joins Nielsen in 2006 after seven years at broadcaster The Nine Network in Australia, latterly as Research Director. Once at Nielsen he spent three years as a Marketing Director, based in Switzerland, three as MD of Audience Measurement in Turkey, and three as MD Media, leading the Watch business in South Africa.

He will now relocate to Sydney, where his role will include driving the company's efforts for a number of major industry tenders in markets including Singapore. He comments: 'Rapidly evolving media habits are bringing about significant shifts in how we measure media consumption, and I look forward to leveraging Nielsen's world-class audience measurement solutions to help our clients in this part of the world to understand and harness these shifts'.
