In London, WPP brand, media and comms researcher Millward Brown has appointed former Digital Radio UK director Jane Ostler as Sector Managing Director, Media and Digital.
Ostler (pictured) joins after nearly five years serving as Communications Director of Digital Radio UK; the body responsible for guiding the radio industry towards digital radio switchover. Prior to this, she was a director at Digital UK, which performed a similar role for TV; and earlier in her career, she was MD of JWT's interactive division digital@jwt.
In her new role, Ostler will head up an arm of the agency which advises brands on increasing marketing efficiency and effectiveness through media and digital solutions.
She will report to Dale Beaton, Regional MD, who comments: 'Jane brings extensive expertise in driving forward some of the most significant digital programmes that we've seen in the UK. We're excited to have her onboard to help our clients deliver effective marketing campaigns that have digital left, front and centre'.
